The staff is fabulous. They were great at getting me in on short notice. And keeping me calm.
Very competent staff - made me feel they were in control of the situation. Vet was amazing. My dog was wheeled in from the car on a gurney because I could not carry her. She was seen immediately and had x-rays and labs done. The vet showed me what the problem was and explained options. She suggested the least radical option as a first step and took care to handle my pet's pain right away. We came home late that night with pain medication and instructions for home care. I am so impressed!!!
The Dr. was great! I took my baby girl to her regular vet 3 days prior in which she was diagnosed with IVDD. Dr. really didn't explain much to me and said she would be fine. Only to have to take her to VECC 3 days later to find out she needed emergency surgery. The Dr. at VECC explained everything. Gave me options and I felt he was honest most of all.

Word-of-mouth from friends and how you helped them with their dogs, especially at the end of life. I am trusting this office to take care of my 5 1/2 year-old Maltese with back leg issues.. I only wish that seniors could have a better discount. We struggled to come up with the money for Miss Chloe's surgery on 2 October. Everyone was very helpful. They explained a lot to us that we did not know what's going to have to be taken care of and I've always heard that this is the place to take your loved dogs.
We brought our English bulldog in due to some gastro intestinal issue that appeared to be unusual for her. The associates and veterinarian were professional and clearly animal lovers. They were fast and informative.
