I was referred to VE+CC by my local veterinarian because their facility is currently not able to perform the necessary surgery on my kitty Squeaky's broken jaw. My vet called ahead to VECC while I rushed over there. The reception desk already had the basic information when I arrived as a walk-in and I barely waited 5 minutes before being taken to the back. I was expecting an hour+ wait like usual, but a nurse came in very quickly and took Squeaky in for examination. Dr. Fasanella returned shortly with Xrays and a brief summary of what was needed. Squeaky stayed overnight and had successful surgery the next day by Dr. Rexing. I was updated regularly with the progress and procedures. Every single person at this hospital was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and caring, and I also felt a comforting level of urgency from them, which is something that's not easy to find. Hats off and I salute the staff at both LVVSC and VE+CC! I can't thank them enough for their efforts!

This hospital has supported several of my pets throughout various phases of their lives, including a liver shunt in my 5lb Yorkie when he was 5 years old. The success rates are not favorable but he has survived and thrived through this procedure and is not over 11 years old. Their medical and operational staff has been top notch!

Veterinary Emergency + Critical Care was excellent with our pet that needed care above our regular vets office. Each staff member was very pleasant to interface with and provided the answers we needed. Although a sad visit for us, our pet was taken care of and is more stable now for the time being. My pet suffered a spinal injury and I had to bring him. Emergency veterinary care, especially specialty care, is expensive; however, they accept several different payment options and allow you to split your payment among those methods. Ultimately, leaving my dog overnight and trusting that he would be okay was hard; however, he was kept comfortable, transferred to the neurologist the following day and his on his way to recovery.

I always receive prompt courteous service. Doctor Posukonis is very knowledgeable and has given my dog Kylo awesome care. She follows through and rechecks everything in order to give proper treatment. Her assistant Hilary loves animals and shows it with her care of Kylo. I appreciate all the staff and love Dr Posukonis and Hilary! Caring attitude and quality care.
