Sticking with the theme of Dental Month….Check out this dog’s braces!
Veterinarian James Moore, a dentistry specialist at Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, put braces on his daughter’s 6-month-old golden retriever, Wesley. The dog was in pain and underweight because his mouth didn’t close correctly, said Dr. Moore, who places orthodontic devices in pets a few times a year when their health is compromised by a dental issue.
